★★★★★

“I Love Avalon Exchange! Friendly staff, open well organized store. Tidy, well lit roomy fitting rooms. This is a resale store, so typically, there is only one of each item. So if you find something you like buy it because I can guarantee it won't be there when you go back. They have a wide range of styles 90s, Y2K and such are currently in, and they buy vintage items selectively. (No formal wear, no business wear, etc) if you have questions about what they are buying, please call beforehand or check out their Instagram! If you sell items to Avalon, you get 30% of what they will sell the item for or 40% store credit of the list item. Store credit doesn't expire. Don't expect to get what you paid for the item. That isn't how resale works. The only complaint is that since they moved, there is no seating inside to wait for buys anymore.”

“Poor customer service (employee rude and unsure of policies), long wait with relatively empty store to be seen and processed. I've been a customer for years buying and selling this was my ONLY bad experience here. I'm only writing this review because while I do want to speak with a manager, I just want to do my business and go home. Hopefully, that rude employee starts having a better day.”

“Unprofessional, Inconsistent, and Toxic Staff AttitudesI have been a regular seller at this location for months, but a recent experience with their staff has ensured I will never bring my business back. The primary issue with this store is the complete lack of professional consistency and the hostile, toxic attitude of the employees. For months, I have successfully processed sales here using my current ID without a single issue. However, during my last visit, a single employee decided to weaponize store policy purely out of spite. She abruptly refused to process my transaction, citing an expiration date that had never been flagged by anyone else in the past. When I pointed out that the store had accepted it just a week prior, I was met with extreme attitude and an aggressive shutdown.Looking at the other negative reviews here, it is clear I am not alone. There is a systemic culture of "mean girl" bullying and severe power-tripping among the staff. They use written policies selectively as tools to talk down to customers and exert petty authority. It is incredibly disappointing that upper management continues to ignore these reviews and allows employees to treat regular patrons with such blatant disrespect. Take your clothes and your money elsewhere”
